RETURNNN

Published February 11, 2012 by Nicoco

Hi! God, everything’s been mental lately. I’ve been spending a lot of time sick/stressed out and I think that or my new shampoo has been ruining my skin.

So, I went to the Naked 2 launch in Preston on the 7th. It was fun, but I don’t think I’ll get Naked 2 just yet. I still have so much of Naked 1 and the 15th Anniversary palette to work through that it seems a bit pointless atm.

I have done a bit of drugstore/freebie hauling (and a bit of UD hauling shhh), so let’s see those things.

Yeah, that’s more or less everything. I also got a free lipgloss with the accessorize highlighter but I can’t find it.

Clockwise from top left:
Accessorize Highlighter; Sample size Dior New Look Mascara; Sample of Chocomania Body Butter; Urban Decay Blusher brush; Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer in FBI; Maybelline Dream Touch Blush in Berry; Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation in Cameo; Rimmel Stay Matte Finishing Powder in Transparent; The Body Shop Vanilla Body Spray; The Body Shop Chocomania Shower Lotion; The Body Shop Banana Shampoo and Conditioner;  The Body Shop Almond Cuticle Oil; The Body Shop Chocomania Lip Butter; Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara (free with Elle magazine); The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter (Small; free because I spent £15 at TBS).

A close up of today’s haul. I’m really excited to try the new chocomania range, but the body butter/scrubs are made for very dry skin, which I don’t have, so I will have to live with chocolate smelling showers OH DEAR. The Banana shampoo/conditioner is something I’ve been interested in for a while, and I want to see if the current breakouts on my forehead are because of  the shampoo I’ve been using recently.
As I was allowed to pick a free product for spending over £15, I grabbed a small size body butter in Satsuma. It’s designed for normal skin, so I think it should work well for me. The small size is so much better because I never finish body butters! I might use it for my hands, though.

I also went to the Dior counter to get my eyes done with their new mascara – the New Look Mascara. It is SO dramatic, the MUA only put one layer on and my lashes looked so defined and thick. I really love it, and once I finish my other mascaras, I will definitely pick it up. She also used one of the new 5 colour palettes on me, and I adore it. It’s Royal Kaki, #454, and contains perfect smoky eye options – a green based gold, a khaki, a black, a silver and a white.

Basically I left with a product list for the bf for V-day. He wasn’t exactly impressed LOL.

Okay, gotta run!
